LEDs + Silicon = 75% cost-reduction.

This means you'll probably see more A19s soon. (A19 is the standard bulb socket, for those who didn't know.)

Well, at least they don't have crazy mercury in them and pose a Hazmat clean-up situation if they break like the "environmentally friendly" (*cough*bullcrap*cough*) lightbulbs. I don't own any of them and absolutely refuse to. Either I run normal flourescents, incandescents, or LEDs, but that's it.

One day I will live in a dark house because I will no longer be able to buy lightbulbs that I'm willing to buy.
