A while back, some one posted a link to what the actual Linux kernel sounds like. Can't find it now. Anyone?

Not trying to be smart, but how does a kernel sound like anything?Do you mean the pronunciation of Linux, as a word?

No, there was a thread awhile back that actually had what the Linux kernel sounded like. I don't know how a kernel can sound like anything but, there it was. Wish I could find it. And, yes, I do produce music. :)

was it the net radio station where the linux kernel is read aloud or the one where the compiled data was turned into an audio stream?

What I think the OP is referring to is someone probably took the kernel and had it played through a media app that can somehow play raw binary data.

Many, many years ago I had a program on my Mac Plus which I could do this with. It is a very odd thing to "hear" a compiled program.
