I've been experiencing some weird video issues recently under 10.10.
Images and embedded video in web pages seems to have blotchy see-through areas.
I couldn't take a screen shot because they don't come out in the shots so I took a video on my phone which can be seen here;

I get this blotchy-ness, images and videos leaving a sort of weird in-print on my desktop even after I close the application and text often appears degraded and broken up on sites such as Google mail.
I thought at first it could just be Firefox but the photo-viewer is giving similar symptoms
Also things are running a bit slow recently with jittery performance from time to time.
(Wine murders my system performance)
My system is a Dell XPS M1530 Laptop
CPU: Intel dual core 2 duo @ 2.5GHZ
Gcard: Nvidia M8600GT
4GH Ram
I have the most recent Ubuntu updates and Nvidia drivers.
This isn't a HUGE problem that makes my system un-usable but it is extremely annoying.
Has anyone got any ideas?
