I am using Thunderbird "Shredder" and the menu items are way too dark. The single entries in the menus are fine, though.

Is this a bug in Thunderbird or in Ambiance? I'd like this to be fixes as soon as possible, as it looks quite ugly and is hard to use.

Thanks in Advance

Could you please provide a screenshot, or two if the menu items which are fine are not seen in at the same time!?

Did you try another theme?

When using other themes the text is still dark, but the background is bright so it doesnt matter.

I see what you mean. But it's working right at my system, I have light text on dark background. Please check the "userChrome.css" in your user profile, "~/.thunderbird/*.default/chrome".

Ah, thanks. I just deleted the chrome directory and now it looks fine. But I'm not sure how this happened
