Conducted Ubuntu installation fest here in my city -Aurangabad,Maharashtra,India.
We were given a stall in one of the local events.Our group ALUG(Aurangabad Linux Users' Group)has made one off-line DVD packages repository for 10.04.
Around 12 people(who knew very less about linux)installed ubuntu on their system along with necessary packages.
many people were amazed by compiz effects.
Many newbie of Comp Sci engg got happy as they got every possible editor,packages off-line.
Keeping in mind that such kind of event was held for first time here in Aurangabad-response was good!
I am too happy as I got immense satisfaction doing this task.
Can anyone suggest me any activity that I can do??
