Something to do.

Im currently really bored, so felt like starting some sort of project.

My idea, i have lots of old dialup modems and fax machines that i would like to use for something, was wondering if it would be possible to rig up some sort of intercom with them?

The fax machine has an answering machine thing on it and a phone as do some of the modems,

I have no idea where to start with all this, obviously could connect them to various computers,

Anyway any suggestions valued!

You could connect two modems with a long bit of wire, then pull it tight, hold one to your ear, have the other person speak into the other one and erm, I'll get me coat... :rolleyes:

Hmmmmm well lets see.

5 modems and 2 fax machines.....that will require some almost Jungian thought on my part to come up with something , lets see, give me a little bit.

Lols, will give the whole fax machine printer and modem faxing thing ago,
could have a written out intercom!
