I must plug my own podcast: Bend Over And I'll Show You (http://www.bendoverandillshowyou.tk). It's a sketch comedy podcast.

I'll check out the "Ask A Ninja" one too, that sounds funny!

LUG Radio for the win!

Also Twit, Rock and Roll Indie Cast, and The Guardian Podcast.

The Worlds Technology podcast is a very professional podcast, done by Boston Public Radio, BBC and some other organisation.

I know the question isn't specifically linux-related, but I must admit to enjoying lugradio. More so than the linux links tech show even.

could anyone tell me how to get the "Ask a Ninja" podcast downloaded automatically (ie the whole point of the podcast stuff) in Ubuntu. Don't know if I'm just missing a key link to the feed, or I don't know how to properly get there from application or both (rhythmbox/vlc/mplayer/banshee etc doesn't matter which)

Thanks.

I couldn't find an obvious RSS link on the website, but I found this link doing a Google search: http://feeds.feedburner.com/AskANinja

Being that it's a video podcast, though, I don't know how well Rhythmbox or Banshee would handle it. Maybe you can give Democracy Player (http://www.getdemocracy.com/) a try. It's designed specifically for video podcasts.

Of course there are no midjet ninja, as that would make too much noise. Yes, I mean no, perhaps, but it depends on what a dag is. The perfect gift is you, as I look forward to killing you soon!

That's some funny stuff right there... AskANinja.com Apply directly to your brain.

i like this one atm -
http://lottalinuxlinks.com/podcast/

this is the feed -
http://lottalinuxlinks.com/podcast/rss.xml

i stopped listening to lugradio and tllts because the sound quality is so bad. the lottalinuxlinks podcast has great sound :|

incase you have problems finding one here's the latest show -
http://media.libsyn.com/media/dsyates/lottalinuxlinks_30.mp3

this one might be even better, it's by the admin of linuxquestions. he talks about all the linux news in the past week, or so. -
http://radio.linuxquestions.org/

the DistroWatch Weekly Podcast use to be good, but it changed host and isn't broadcast as oftem now. all it is is someone reading out the weekly postings on DistroWatch. here's the feed -
http://distrowatch.com/news/podcast.xml

there's a new podcast out called 'questions please', the first one had Richard Stallman, Jeremy Allison and Jeff Waugh. the next is Mark Shuttleworth
http://questionsplease.org/new/

**** <--- that has been censored for some reason, you can see the name in the link. radio is great, it's a short 5/10 minute podcast about one subject, the lastest is about AJAX. there's been shows on lockpicking, firefox hacks, bash, apt on an rpm system, VPNs, GIMP, RIAA and lots more.
http://twatech.org/alleps.php

here's a python podcast -
http://www.awaretek.com/python/

i like the seti podcast too, it has shows about Einstein, the solar system etc

I'll add the Linux Reality podcast. It's geared towards newer users. The host, Chess Griffin, is really easy to listen to. Great audio quality and topics. Here's some links:
website: http://www.linuxreality.com/
feed: http://feeds.feedburner.com/linuxreality

I agree with an earlier comment on the linux link tech show - the audio is so terrible I can't listen anymore (plus they have too much non-linux talk). Which is a shame because they interview some interesting people sometimes.

I also like the previously mentioned lottalinuxlinks and linux action show.
For funnies, give Keith and the Girl a listen. They're very funny: http://shitecom.libsyn.com/

lots of people love AAN, i've only ever seen afew seconds of it. but, if you want you can just watch it here -
http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=Ask+a+Ninja

i did try Banshee's feed reader once and that downloads shows automatically, so all you'd need to do is import the feed into Banshee i think.

i uploaded an opml file once that you can put into liferea's directory that has lots of linux podcasts, blogs, news etc here -
http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=1969067&postcount=11
i deleted lots of other great feeds i didn't think appropriate for that thread, then had a HDD crash and wished i left more in lol
