I have installed the latest version of the Xubuntu-Desktop (10.10). I still have gnome installed. I do not want to uninstall gnome as I am still experimenting with xubuntu. But in Xubuntu I get gnome and xubuntu applications(such as: Evolution and ThunderBird,Empathy and Pidgen, Gedit and MousePad). Is it possible to run xubuntu without the gnome apps without creating a separate partition.
