I have grub2, booting from a USB stick and working with the default text menu. I have been working on creating a theme to be able to manipulate where images and icons are displayed. When the theme is applied, lose the ability to enter the grub command line by pressing the letter “C”. Is there a way to add the ability to enter the GRUB command line interface from a theme? As well as to place a password on the item? I would also hate to lose the ability to enter back into the theme by pressing the ESC key. Any help and direction wuold be appreciated. Thank you.
