Hello everyone,

I'll preface this post with the disclaimer that I'm a Linux noob. That being said, I've been trying to get this to work all day over email with an experienced user, with no luck.

Sourceforge has a binary tgz for Iometer 2006_07_27, the last stable Intel build, I presume. When I follow the install instructions here...

http://greg.porter.name/wiki/HowTo:iometer

... the files/directories all look correct as shown in the section titled "Get Dynamo for Linux".

When I try to issue "./dynamo -i <servername> -m <clientname>"

Ubuntu gives me an error that it can't execute a binary. I tried chmod to give executable privileges to the bin file but it still doesn't work.

I would prefer to not have to make this from the source as the Ubuntu installation in question is on a custom hardware platform in development and I'm having enough problems just ssh-ing into the darn thing. :icon_frown:

Can someone please tell me how to properly use/install the binary version of this tool?

Thank You,
