I have USB drive that has been formatted as FAT (one partition) and made bootable with MSDOS 6.22. I have also installed GRUB2 onto this USB drive to allow me be boot to other image files. The boot process seems to be working as expected. However when I boot from a Dos 622 image file using MEMDISK, I not able to see the DOS file system that exist on the USB drive. The partition can be read, but it is displayed as NON-DOS partition and gives me the errors “Abort, Retry , fail” which makes sense since it cannot see the file system.
Should I be able to see and access the partition on the BOOT USB DRIVE when booting the DOS.IMG file with Memdisk? If so, what I am missing? Thanks for the assistance.

Ok, Don't know why but it looks like the DOS iamge was corrupted. I recreated and now i can see the USB partition.
