SMPlayer Installation Error

Hi all,

I intended to download SMPlayer, because I'm having a problem with MPlayer when i set a subtitle which contains non-english characters. So , i've downloaded the .deb package of smplayer ; however, i get this error while installing it;


Installing package...
dpkg: error processing /tmp/file6PsCL2.deb (--install):
cannot access archive: Permission denied
Errors were encountered while processing:
/tmp/file6PsCL2.deb

Why not install smplayer from the repositories?
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install smplayer

Yep! Step by step i'm getting used to Linux :) I realized that the main thing is not to give up .
