in graphics matter i am stuck. but others ubuntu is great. :lolflag:

i know this is the really stupid one. But many of the people who migrate from windows to ubuntu faces graphics and hardware problem. they have 2 year or may be older computer hardware like me and my friends. :P
ubuntu supports new and incomming technology not the previous one.

Dont mind: any upgrade from ubuntu become Degrade/Downgrade :).

We have to rely on reverse engineering and etc if the vendors do not supply drivers. So it is tough to find folks willing to work on old or rare graphics hardware. Thats just the way it is regrettably.

The Hardware requirments for Ubuntu are listed here (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/SystemRequirements).

That being said, I have a couple of systems here that happily run Natty on 512Mb ram. One system is fairly broken, as onboard sound and video don't work, but with cheap used parts, a Sound Blaster card and Nvidia 8400GS, Ubuntu runs quite well.
