Hi can anyone help?

After I've installed ubuntu in VM workstation,
(1) Everytime I power on the Ubuntu in virtual machine, it will prompt me the installation part again even thought I hv done that before and created a user account, say "leemw". why is it so?

(2) If I click cancel installation, it will back to "Ubuntu" account instead of mine. How to go to my account?

(3) If I just use the "Ubuntu" account to continue with my program, I found that my previous program has gone each time when I power off the Ubuntu.

(4) Will it be the installation problem? Anybody can advise?

Sincerely Thanks...

All VM utilities have an option menu you can use it to mount/unmount drivers pre-boot or after-boot time.

VM Workstation (VMWare) have too.
Check this before booting (starting) your virtual machine.
There is a screenshot of this thing.
