I have been using Ubuntu for the last year and have never been asked for the Ubuntu CD when I install software.... but this is the first time I am using 10.10 64bit

A few times now when I try and install something I get the following

Media change: please insert the disc labeled
'Ubuntu 10.10 _Maverick Meerkat_ - Release amd64 (20101007)'
in the drive '/cdrom/' and press enter

I went and wrote 10.10 to a DVD but when I press enter I just get the same message again

Whats going on and how do I fix this ?

The only thing I can think if is that the ubuntu 10.10 cd might be checked in your software sources list. To fix it, just open the software center, click edit->software sources, and uncheck it under the "Ubuntu Software" tab.

If that doesn't fix it for you, you might have found a bug.
