I'm assuming this has been discussed before, but everything Google is giving me is for setup files and not for actual programs. How do I create a .deb file from a .py program file (Its not a script)

OK, so what path would I place my program in the system? (Judging your first link) and how do I tell it to automatically execute?

In the system, you mean chose a place where to put your files?
Consider your deb folder as the root of the hard drive. To put something in /usr/share, will look like this: deb_folder /usr/share.

About auto-execution, I don't know.
