Hi,
I need to install ubuntu 10.10 into 30 computers (using windows XP).
I don't want to take each computer, format it and install the new operation system.(That's going to take too much time)
Can you give me a solution and some documentations about the way that I can accelerate this process.
Thank you

Hi, welcome to the fora.
Maybe Clonezilla will help:

Thank you mörgaes
When I restore the file, do you think the computer will reboot directly ?

Hi, seeing as there not networked you still have to touch each pc one by one and if there not identical cloned installs could be problematic. 4-5 livecd's and have the users help you all thirty pc's could be up and running 2-3 days.

Thank you desnaike,
My first priority it's not to bother the users.
About touching the computer one by one it's not a problem, it's just to fully reinstall ubuntu on each computer that I don't want (close to 1h30 per computer Installation + update + configuration ... ).
On Windows I make a snapshot of one computer and I just need 8 minutes on each computer to reinstall the same computer. I 'd like to find the same solution on ubuntu.
I'm sure there is a way to deploy ubuntu easily.
