View Full Version : [ubuntu] synaptic package manager

Greetings,
I am a newbie to Ubuntu. I am using a virtual box+ubuntu 10.10 64 bit.
I was trying to download all the possible libgd for my ubuntu ,but meanwhile it crashed and i restart my computer.
Right now when i open synaptic package manager this message appear :

E:dpkg was interrupted ,you must manually run 'sudo dpkg--configure -
a' to correct the problem
E:_cache-> open()failed please report

when I typppe it on my terminal window it says that: command not found

sudo dpkg --configure -a
