For Internet stations I listen to pretty much everything on Digitally Imported (http://www.di.fm/) and SomaFM (http://somafm.com/). Plus Twit Live (http://live.twit.tv/) is great, though I generally listen to most of the Twit shows via podcasts.

As for radio stations, I generally listen to these:
- WBAI 99.5 NYC (http://stream.wbai.org/)
- WUSB 90.1 Stony Brook, NY (http://www.wusb.fm/)
- LBC 97.3 London, Eng (http://www.lbc.co.uk/listen-to-lbc-3576)
- KQED 88.5 (NPR) San Francisco (http://www.kqed.org/radio/listen/)
- KCSM 91.1 San Mateo, Ca (http://kcsm.org/)

Also Al Jazeera English (http://english.aljazeera.net/) has a good video and audio feed I try to catch from time to time.

I have an account for Pandora, but honestly I don't care to listen to it much since the variety seems shallow. It's a great service, but I don't like the way they limit the playback of some songs or disallow moving up and down a play list.

For an eclectic selection of really good mainly acoustical guitar music, try "La Note Picking Radio" (French).

I'm really enjoying it. I haven't created an account there yet, though. I have one distro here (Debian Squeeze) where I can't get it to work, most of the window is white. I don't know what's up with that, Grooveshark works in every other distro here.

I usually listen to the lounge channel at Digitally Imported (http://www.di.fm), when I'm at work. I've also listened a Swiss radio that streams very good jazz and blues songs, but I don't remember the address or the name (must be on my bookmarks at home, but I'm at work now, so I can't check).
