I am trying to install from an ISO disk on IBM xSeries 440 with 4 Xeon PM CPUs. The boot comes up, but then give the following error:
modprobe: FATAL Could not load /lob/modules/2.6.35-22-generic/modules.dep No such file or directoy.
I have check the hardware, and the two internal drives are active as a single RAID 1 device.
The install then hangs, sometimes giving me the romfs prompt.
I can get to the install menu by hitting function ket on load. I get the try, install, test disks, menu. All options hang.
Any help would be appreciated.
