pendrive mounts to desktop

i don't want the pendrives or any other storage devices to mount to the desktop, is there any way i can do this.

umount (all the names of your devices [sdb1,sdb2...])
You can add this to startup applications with run in terminal checked.

if i unmount then how will i browse the contents of the devices. actually i don't want the devices to mount on the desktop.
