View Full Version : [SOLVED] Wireless connection settings lost

On 10.04 I created an account for a normal 'Desktop user' but each time that user logs into his account the wireless settings are lost as seen in the screen-shot. I've also attached the user privilege settings for that normal user in case it might help. The same scenario on 9.10 on my same laptop doesn't cause any problems. I want to report this problem using Apport. What is the name of the package that I should use? Thanks

Go to the network manager icon in the panel, right click and Edit connections. After entering your password, check the wireless tab and make sure the two tick boxes for "Connect automatically" and "Make available for all users" are selected.
