View Full Version : [SOLVED] No Dual Boot Menu Visible

Friends
i installed ubuntu 10.10 inside windows xp. but when i reboot the system goes directly into windows as no dual boot screen is available. how can this be corrected??
points to be noted:
i installed ubuntu on an external hard drive.
i am running 32 bit version of Xp and installed the same of ubuntu

Inside of windows, on an external hard drive:confused:
So, windows is on your external hard drive?

Is it showing up in your installed programs?

nope windows is on my internal hard drive
and Ubuntu is shown in the installed programs.

the problem is solved it was because i selected default boot as windows in the windows system properties settings. now i have overcome it
