My Ubuntu was fine until a few days back when after reboot, my system started to lag a lot. In compiz, Xorg is 100cpu. But when I disable it and turn on metacity, application e.g docky, shoot the Xorg up which still lags.
I have no clue what caused it to start. Its really annoying now. I updated to 10.04.2 with the thought of the problem automatically fixing but unfortunately wrong.
