Ok, so I just ran into another issue.
My plymouth bootscreen is distorted, like I get distorted copies of the Xubuntu logo scaled down to a rectangle when booting.
Normally I boot from grub.efi through rEFIt, and for it's config It just spits out pure verbose.
However using the copy of grub installed to my Ubuntu partition (Using blocklists), it becomes distorted. It keeps saying something about an efi driver conflicted, which makes no sense since I'm not booting from EFI in this case.
