View Full Version : [SOLVED] HELP! UBUNTU Won't Load Up AnyMore

(Ubuntu 10.10)
HELP!
I have even tried to run the Live CD and All I get is (initramfs) unable to find a medium containing a live file system.

With out the CD in the drive I get, Try (hd0,0): EXT2

Please help me!

I have use of the second CD I made for a friend and I have a LIVE version running now.

Yep I kind of did that by getting a disk back from my friend.
Now I can see 1 of my old HHD (the one with my Ubuntu installed on it) So Now How do I recover Ubuntu to make it boot up again?

Hi, U said ur trying live cd and cant boot ur machine. You didnt explain to us what happens in detail when you boot your installed machine rather than with any live cd image.

I am guessing, you may have problem in the grub. Does the grub shows up for you??

I only get Try(hd0,0): EXT2
when I boot with out the live CD

oh no! Grub4Dos is in my master boot record! How do I get grub 2 back into there?
