Hi there.
I have a problem with the look of the notify-osd bubbles. Here is a screenshot:

I think i'm missing some packages or something as i started with a command line installation and then installed gnome-core. Under sysetm->preferences i have pop-up notifications where i can change between ubuntu and standard theme but both look weird, not as they should (black with transparency and shadows). Sorry if this is a newbie question, I am new to gnome.
