So I have been running 10.04 LTS 32bit on my desktop for about six months. After purchasing a new laptop for school and slamming 10.10 64bit on it with not problems, I decide to do the same for my desktop. the installation goes fine, but when it reboots it will only show the terminal line and not the graphic interface what so ever. So I go back and install the 32bit 10.10 and everything works fine.
Current specs of desktop
-Biostar TH55 motherboard
-Intel i3 (cant remember the model #)
-4GB ram
-500GB Hard drive
I was planning on adding some more ram in the 2 empty slots, but i without the 64bit OS kinda pointless
Any help is appreciated
