My system is only a week old. My old PC seems to have a dead hard drive, so I've got tons of space. I created a second partition and formatted it via Windows 7. I downloaded Wubi to put 10.10 on said partition, and let her rip.

All seems fine during installation. All of the graphics look great, and everything seems to finish up swimmingly.

When I select Ubuntu from the boot menu, Grub starts up with another boot menu. I select "Ubuntu, Linux 2.6.35-22-generic" from that list.

All kinds of system info goes streaming on by until I get a Ubuntu 10.10 command line to login with.

What do I to get my system to go to the GUI?

Sorry if this is a basic question that has been answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find the answer.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.
