Well, I installed lubuntu alongside my ubuntu, then unintsalled something or another, and everytime I booted, I would get the blue background, but that was it. I think I uninstalled 1/2 of an os or something? Well, I thought I knew exactly what I was doing and thought I could fix it from a LiveCd, and that didn't work, so then I partitioned my system, and installed ubuntu on it, and tried to fix it, and now whenever I boot to my original operating system, I get this:

Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems:
- Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
- Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)
- Check root= (did the system wait for the right device?)
- Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; Ls /dev)
ALERT! /dev/disk/by-uuid/515e14bb-d72a-4bd3-b729-9bb9656340bd does not exist.
Dropping to a shell!

BusyBox v1.15.3 (Ubuntu 1:1.15.3-1ubuntu5) built-in-shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands

(initramfs)

Sorry if there are any typos, I copyed this by hand...

I am honestly stumped.... Any help? I mean, it's not the end of the world if it isn't fixed, because I still have my files, but I'd like to get all my settings back etc.

Thanks!!
