Please help, I've looked everywhere for this and can't find anything.
I have Ubuntu 9.04. I have Skype installed, Pidgin 2.5.5, and I have the skype4pidgin plugin installed. I've tried everything I can think of to get the Skype option to show up in "create Account" but I still cannot add a Skype account. The option for a Skype Account Type just isn't in the dropdown list at all.
I've uninstalled Pidgin, reinstalled it, reinstalled the plugin half a dozen times, manually ensured the files are where they're supposed to be, I've rebooted the computer - nothing helps.
Any advice you can give would be VERY MUCH appreciated.
