Complete noob here so please be patient...
I was running Eeebuntu 3 on my Eeepc 901, but due to lack of support I decided to change over to ubuntu 10.10 netbook.
The install went well, with only one problem... The menus (system and applications) in the top bar aren't there. I can still run most things through the applications button on the side-bar, but this is a bit unseemly and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to retrieve my menus.
Let me know if there is any further information that you need (including commands to run in terminal if needed, noob remember...)
