teamviewer compatibility

I have two xp machines that I use teamviewer to remotely use the other computer and administer.

I really would like to use this same teamviewer to remotely administer my two ubuntu machines from the xp machine.

Is this possible and with what versions of teamviewer?

well I had my linux machine and a friend had windows 7 and he was able to remote into my computer. We both just had the latest version for our OS

Hi,
It works good for me across my local network with a Windows XP computer and a Kubuntu 10.10 computer. The version of Teamviewer I use now is the current version, version 6. It also worked well with version 5. I never tried to connect to other computers outside my network though.
