View Full Version : [ubuntu] Ubuntu is running in low-graphics mode

Hey Everyone, Was wondering if someone could help me i uninstalled a couple packages the other day because it said that they where "broken" now everytime i boot up i get Ubuntu is running in low-graphics mode

(EE) intel(0): [drm] failed to set drm interface version
(EE) intel(0): Failed to become DRM Master
(EE) intel(0):failed to get resources: Bad file descriptor
(EE) intel(0): kernal modesetting setup failed
(EE) screen(0): found, but none have usable configuration

Any help would be great cheers

I had almost the same problem some days ago. I gave up though..

Have you tried startx in console and then seeing if there are any additional drivers left out?

got it working reinstalled the desktop-environment and its working found the solution in the forums thanks to anyone that took the time to read my post
