my pc doesnt have internet connection. is there way i can download update offline and via windows?

I am slightly nooby and dont use forims much but you can't download anything if you are offline.

If you mean obtain the OS update to better version try writing to Ubuntu and ask them for a CD version, youl hav to pay idk how much but not much.

Oh I see you mean after install you want the updates! I think youl need to be online

Technically speaking you could do that IF you know all the update packages and if you know where to download them without Synaptic. But that is a grand migraine. You'd be better off leaving it as it is, and wait till you get the chance to connect to the net.
