Before I install lubuntu (presently using Fedora/KDE), I need to know if lubuntu supports
the graphical image program Kuickshow, and does it support PPP dialup modems.??

Kuickshow is not officially supported according to http://packages.ubuntu.com

It is possible you might be able to install it yourself without official support, however it appears to be a KDE application, and therefore might run better in Kubuntu. (Lubuntu = LXDE; Kubuntu = KDE)

No idea about the PPP modem question, sorry.

Hello and welcome to the forums,

KuickShow can be downloaded here http://kuickshow.sourceforge.net/ and installed.

I am not sure how well it works with dial up, but you can always boot the LiveCD and see how it handles before installing.
