Has anyone with an Acer Aspire 5100 laptop successfully setup Ubuntu....? I can't seem to get the display fully working on my Acer Aspire laptop 5100.
It has a 14.1 inch screen. The system bootsup and is operational, but left side vertical launcher menu is grayed out-- although it sometimes appears with all app icons for split second.
The top horizonal menu is also not viewable, although I can click on the upper right and see the login options, calendar, network status, etc..
I have te 32-bit Ubuntu 10.10 with all recent updates... Any suggestions for a newbie...?
