View Full Version : [ubuntu] Google Chrome Not Updating. How do I add it to trusted software providers ?

Attached is a screenshot of my current chrome version (i believe 10 is out), and my ubuntu update thing, I want to add google to trusted sources, but I dont know how. I've tried reinstalling chrome, and it's still the old version.

im running ubuntu 10.10

How do you installed Chrome?
You can install the latest version with UbuntuTweak.

I'm installing Chrome via the official website (http://www.google.com/chrome), I just follow the instructions but it seems to install an old version.

Thanks re:Ubuntu Tweak, if I can't find a way to do it through the official channels then I'll try your way in the next couple of days.

Hello and welcome to the forums,

When you installed Google, the installer added Google's repos to your sources list, so you will get updates whenever Google releases them.

Edit: BTW, you do have the most up to date version of Chrome.
