I have the workstation with *-buntu and packages and devices and configuration and end-user data &c. How do I create an as-is copy of the OS and packages onto bootable DVD media?
The idea is:
backup all of the end-user data
create the bootable, as-is "recovery" DVD
store both data sets against a wholesale failure or massive
end-user error
"Recovery" consists of boot the "recovery" DVD and install followed by
restore the end-user data.
Merci d'avance,
