Right so heres whats up, i recently installed ubuntu desktop edition onto my laptop and im not really getting on with it. I have created a windows7 disk with the ISO on it, but i was wondering how to boot from it. Ive made it top priority in my BIOS and have no idea what else to do. thanks for any help, jordan.

it sounds like you copied the .iso to the CD, you need to burn it to the CD.
i think it's called Brasero?
anyway you use a CD burning program, and then you can boot from it.

Hope this helps!

Is there an option to manually chose boot media? On my Dell laptop you hit F12. Also, see if you can check original MD5 checksum.

i can only enter the BIOS but cant choose what to boot from.
Except putting the disc drive top of the boot priority
