As I said in the other DockbarX thread, it's really amazing, and it didn't take me long to make the switch from the AWN taskbar permanent. With the tools that the Helpers provide plus the Window Management tools of DockbarX, it makes items on your dock into complete application widgets. It's insane what you can control from the dock now - launch, close, minimize, maximize, on whole groups or individual windows, plus the recent documents, Rhythmbox controls, etc. And unlike AWN or Cairo-Dock, it understands OOo.

Note that if you're using AWN and want you panel to Intellihide, you'll need to leave the AWN taskbar on the panel but empty it out ("display only launchers," then remove all the launchers.)
