Chandler on 10.10

Hi, I've read about the open source PIM Chandler and how it's kind of a new twist on software of its kind (although I guess I missed the release by a few years...) and I've been dying to try it out. I've had no success, however. It seems the most recent release is for Jaunty and I'm running Maverick. I guess there are some pretty well entrenched dependency issues. There doesn't seem to be a solution anywhere.. Does anyone have a potential solution to this? Has anyone even heard of Chandler (http://chandlerproject.org/)?

Thanks for your reply, and although the process described on that page started and looked promising, it still ultimately failed. I went ahead and tried it in windows and its a little choppy and kind of rough around the edges.. Again thanks for the help, but I think I'm just going to call it quits on this one.

How did chandler workout for your and is it available for ubuntu 11.10

Looks like an interesting application, but the download on the Chandler Project website is for ubuntu 8.10, which seems dated.

I've been experimenting with KeepNote, which has some great features, but miss the time aspect for notes. Tried out Rednotebook, but that is more of a journal. Thought maybe Chandler might bring the two together. They have some great videos on the Chandler Project website.

Wondering what is up with Chandler ??
