error codes at installation screen

after i put the cd in the drive after rebooting and select english and then install ubuntu it starts to load and comes down to an error code below

3.281847 c0570be3 error_code+0x73/0x80

has anyone encountered this error? is it something common? the cd has no scratches on it so it cant possibly be that :/ any help is greatly appreciated thanks :)

I have also same problem,can any one help me to out?i can't install and it can't run as live cd....it show "error_code+0x73/0x78" and on my key board caps lock and scroll lock being on and off.......

First check the disk for errors. The LiveCD should have an option to do that.

If the LiveCD is working, run a memtest86+ to make sure your memory is not faulty.
