Configuration files are usually read by programs. Starting a conf file really makes no sense. ;)

I installed hotspot, but I want to run it on bootup, it uses vpnc, and i got a conf file for it and the command to run it is sudo vpnc-connect vpn/hotspot .... vpn/hotspot, could be changed to something else because it's in ~... any help?
