Could Not Calculate The Uprade

Hi all. My sister is having problems upgrading from 10.04 to 10.10 and she is getting an error message before the 10.10 upgrade begins. Here are some screen shots...

The only thing I can think of that could be affecting this... I while back I had locked her versions of Sun Java so Ubuntu would not delete them. Ive unlocked those and still she gets the error message upon trying to upgrade.

Anything I can do to get her system fixed? Thanks!

Its a known bug in update-manager. Can you file a launchpad report and link me to it?

Is there specific info I need from that particular computer for filing the bug report or can I do a bug report for this bug without needing to be at that system?

Oh, yeah it should be done from the problem machine. Is it possible?

I'll have to use teamviewer or something on her system if i cant get there soon.

There are lots of bug report on this error. Try googling

"could not calculate the upgrade" site:launchpad.net/ubuntu

(including the quotes) and see. If there is a similar bug report already, best is to add to that rather than opening a new one.
