Need help asap!

I have win7 and ubuntu 10.10 installed currenty. I dual boot just fine. However my windows 7 OS is corrputed and needs a fresh install. I'm reading that I could have issues with GRUB. I need to reinstall windows and not sure if I can save my Ubuntu partition (ive worked so hard on). How do I go about doing this/?

Tip 1: Make your subjects meaningful; not "help".

When you reinstall Windows, it will undoubtedly overwrite your bootloader and leave only Windows as a bootable OS. Your Ubuntu OS will still be there (unless you overwrote the whole disc), but you'll need to reinstall Grub.

Have an Ubuntu CD handy.
