VLC package for amd 64

Please Can anybody tell me how to get debian package for ubuntu 10.10 & how to install it........

If trying to install VLC click on Applications > Ubuntu Software Centre,type VLC in the search box,select VLC media player and it will install from there.....

i have installed ubuntu through wubci i.e. as windows software & i'm unable to connect to internet, so please tell me how to install it offline.....
I need a offline installer......
