View Full Version : [ubuntu] SLIM login to fvwm-crystal by default?

Hello. I'm seem to be completely lost here.

I originally installed Ubuntu on this older PC with fvwm-crystal in mind, because I had heard good things about it.

I went and installed it, and the login manager SLIM, with aptitude...

sudo aptitude install fvwm-crystal slim

Luckily enough it seemed to detect FVWM-Crystal right away, and loaded to it's desktop. After using it for a bit, I decided to experiment, and I uninstalled it. What I did next was try out OpenBox, FluxBox, etc., but I decided on going back to fvwm-crystal.

When I reinstalled it though, it loaded to the fvwm2 environment, and not crystal. Any ideas how I can change SLIM back to using it by default instead?
