yeap, im sitting here, booting up windows. it froze. i hard reset. i boot it up again. it says "WINDOWS/SYSTEM32/CONFIG/SYSTEM is corrupted. please insert your windows xp professional disk and press r at the first screen to start the repair.

my problem? i cant find my good version disk, only the disk itself thats corrupted.:sad: my question is: how on earth can i restore this file? i wanna play maplestory again. also, im using ubuntu atm, so obviously i can still access the interwebz. just hurry up with responses please [-o<

Eh...you can restore the file by putting in the good disk like it says?

hehe...problem is i am completely unable to get a new, un corrupted disk, unfortunatly. dont ask me to explain why, i just cant right now. so, if someone could do something, such as give me a download or something for the file, and how i could patch that into windows that would be great. also, someone telling me if im asking for something impossible would also help
