Customize Ubuntu Installation -maker?

I will soon be loading Ubuntu on lot of machines - of various sorts.

Is there a way to Configure the installation procedure for Ubuntu? I would like to control the apps that are installed by default, and include customized logo, and branding things...

Is there a tool to do that?
I would like to make an install CD (or DVD) with my customized version.
